The Dutch Business Aviation Association (DBAA) is the voice of the Business Aviation sector in the Netherlands, and the central contact point for policy makers and business leaders in this domain.
Its objective is to promote and defend the interests of national and international companies operating in the business aviation sector within the Netherlands. This includes all related activities and support services, even if these operations are of a commercial and/or industrial nature. Business aviation is a vital economic enabler connecting people, businesses and the Netherlands to the world.
We represent companies such as commercial operators, corporate aviation businesses, ambulance/medical flight operations, maintenance (MRO) and aircraft financing companies, as well as many other service providers from within the aviation industry, including catering companies and FBOs. In addition, we strive to protect the interests of our closely related General Aviation (GA) partners.
We firmly believe in a viable future for business aviation and are working, on behalf of all actors and stakeholders, to achieve this aim. As such, we support decentralized air traffic and its infrastructure, as well as the emergence of hub and spoke airports, along with the use of sustainable aircraft such as eVTOLs, or other means of innovative, sustainable, and efficient air travel.
The Dutch BAA was officially established on 25 July 2024.
The Dutch Business Aviation Association envisions a future in which aviation continues to create value for society, and remains a viable means of transport through innovation and sustainability measures. We actively support and promote solutions to enhance the environmental performance of the sector, including support for decentralized air traffic as well as sustainable, efficient air travel. As the representative body for business aviation in the Netherlands, the DBAA serves as a key contact point for policymakers and business leaders, advocating for all actors and stakeholders in the business aviation sector.
Our mission is to support and contribute to a decentralized business aviation infrastructure by representing our members in dialogue with authorities, state institutions, and aviation associations. As a trusted partner, we actively engage with policymakers and the scientific community to meet or exceed sustainability targets. We are committed to supporting initiatives that will give rise to lower emission aircraft, sustainable aviation fuels, and measures that will lead to an optimization of operational processes, and a better balancing of ecological and economic needs. Our goal is for our sector to remain a pioneer in promoting sustainable and efficient aviation operations.
The Dutch Business Aviation Association represents its members on the national level. It is through this close collaboration that our voice can be heard to defend the interests of our members vis-vis airports, the government and other stakeholders.
